Well, my hair looks kinda orange in the pic for some reason. I thinks because of the angle a 10 year old had when taking the picture. But, we are both thrilled with our cuts. It was fun. I'm sick though, so gonna go back to the couch so I can work tonight.... YAY!! Love it. KEEP IN MIND... I'M SICK AND PALE LOOKIN', SO MY SMILE IS FAKE AND THE HAIR ON ONE SIDE IS CRUMPLED A LITTLE FROM LAYING ON IT ALL DAY- BUT YOU GET THE PICTURE.

Thanksgiving Broken Bow

My camera has a very small memory stick and I can only get 10 pictures at a time. Since that's the case, the rest of the family took about 250 pictures so when I get some of those, I'll post better pictures. But we did have a wonderful and relaxing time there and the weather was beautiful. Never got above 50!

School Picture

This is this years picture of the squirrel in 5th grade! The smudge on her arm is from when she had an IV done at the hospital somewhat recently, and it won't wash off no matter what we try. Why the photographer couldn't have her pose with one hand covering it up, I'll never know... but oh well. She's growing up so fast and it's exciting but kind of bitter sweet all at once. I took a picture of the picture we got in the package so I could post it so it's a little off kilter, but wanted to share it with y'all. Hope you're doing well. Chow.

Temporary Reading Glasses

These are temporary! I got them from Wal-mart the day they told me she really needs some reading glasses and found out that must be the cause of her headaches that went on for days.
Anyway, soon she'll have some really cute ones that she's picked out but for now, she's fine with these. Alot of the kids at school wear glasses anyway, in a way she's cool. They're sliding off her nose here, but I wanted to get this posted since I was asked to get a picture. Love-us

The box

I got home from work and she was starting with the idea of making a puppet show with the box she's sitting in. Elvis, on the other hand just has his hedgehog on his mind. She's trying to do the baton and I suck so I'm not really any help. Cute how she still fits in a box that size. We're gonna go get something put together for lunch. Hope all is well with you.

She's 10!

Probably the last year for Chuck E. Cheese but it was fun. It was storming and pooring rain last year on her birthday when we went there and same exact thing this year. High of 83 degrees, but raining cats and dogs. The bottom is a picture of most of her My Littlest Pet Shop thingy's. The cookie is a stand in for the cake I dropped on the floor... and the rest of the day was a blurr. Hope yours is going well! I'm going to bed.

The last day of Girl Scout Camp

What an awkward age. She's cute though. She's barely awake but I'm making her pose for picture with all of her camp stuff.

Then here is a picture of a healing chin from what happened on May 30th. I took this today, June 8th. She had to have her chin glued together in 2 places in the ER. Apparently, she's had something blue to eat from the looks of the corners of her mouth. That's been our luck these days. Hope yours is better!!

I don't know if I can take it anymore

I know there comes a time when we have to realize that our child(ren) is growing up and there's nothing we can do about it. But, when you see your little one singing a beautiful song like "He's got the whole world in His hands", it starts to hit you like a MAC truck. I sat in amazement making a fool out of myself there at this simple little graduation and the tears were just flowing uncontrolably. I've been wheepy lately anyway but this really was a joyous occasion of being extremely proud of who I'm raising. Well, who we're raising. I've missed the last several meetings for Girl Scouts up until tonight due to my work schedule stealing my time from my little squirrel. But, I was blessed enough to share this time with her and see her be her own little person with a beautiful personality up there on the stage while she graduated from 4th grade Girl Scouts. She amazes me sometimes you know? I wonder how someone like me can have such a great little girl. I guess I'll never know. Gotta go get a kleenex... hope all is well in your world, I'm still trying to figure out if it's well in mine. I'm blessed though- in many ways anyway. Mother's day was a bust oh well, there's next year right around the corner. Oh, and to get a better look, you can double click on the picture.

Well, the Easter Bunny brought the squirrel the Littlest Pet Shop set. Well, one of the dozens that are out there. This is as you can see... the "fun in the bathtub" one.
